Martine Longchamp lost her brother in the Haiti Earthquake of 2010. Since that time she has carried on his legacy and taken personal responsibility for orphaned children via Diakonos International Children’s Home outside of Port-au-Prince.
AAI is supporting school sponsorship for these children that will change their lives. Your gift of $35 a month will pay their school fees, provide for school uniforms, school books, etc.
Children over the age of 18 that have grown up at Diakonos’ Small Community of Family are not forced out of the home. Most of them are still attending school, and the sponsorship you provide for them will help cover their education and learning a professional trade. When they are ready, they are encouraged to find a job to support themselves and move out or use their skills to help-out at the children’s home.
