July is our Favorite Time of The Year with Art Day Celebration in Haiti!
Art Day Celebration (ADC) is an annual event that Airline Ambassadors partners with Diakonos International to bring healing and restore hope to vulnerable children through the arts by nurturing their creativity – using visual arts, theater, movement and music.

This year’s theme will be “The Art of Homemaking”. Homemaking is the deliberate cultivation of beauty and productivity in family relationships. We will be offering various workshops on hand sewing, baking techniques, and the art of setting a table and table manners. As well as introduce our new Basic Computer Skills workshop.

Event Details
During three days (July 19th – July 21st) of community art workshop for orphanded and vulnerable children in Haiti, AAI’s volunteers will help the team of Diakonos International offer an outlet to foster each child’s qualities to learn, express, and apply creative practices to help enrich their hopes and dreams through various self-enriching art workshops.
These art workshops encourage children from Diakonos International’s Family Home in Carrefour as well as other groups to explore the healing and nurturing joy of creative art making while inspiring and restoring hope.
