Many thanks to Ms. Miho Okada, of the Caux Round Table Japan, All Nippon Holdings  and Gillian Murray of the UNODC Blue Heart Campaign for helping with our first training in Japan!

The training was hosted by Hiroshhi Ishida, Executive Director of the Caux Round Table Japan and attended by All Nippon Airlines and Japan Airlines staff as well as officials from government and NGO’s.

Remarks were made by Not for Sale Japan, the  International Organization of Migration, and AAI’s team – Nancy Rivard, Donna Hubbard, Andrea Hobart and Deb Quigley participated.  Gillian Murray presented on UNODC’s Blue Heart Campaign. Local NGO’s such as ECPAT, Lighthouse Center, Amnesty International and the Japan Christian Women’s Organization also participated.

The training workshop took place on April 18th with an enthusiastic response from all participants. This was the first workshop of its kind in Japan.
