“I met 17 yr old Margarita at DFW when she was on her way home from her scoliosis evaluation at Shriner’s. She was very sweet and we talked about her 12 siblings and life in Belize.

How heartwarming to see her family so excited to see her!

At the airport in Belize, I said goodbye to Margarita and met Kimara whom I was taking to St. Louis for medical evaluation. She was a talkative, outgoing child and excited about her trip to the US.

How blessed I am to have shared Kimara’s first airplane trip and first escalator, elevator and moving walkway! We took the Skylink in DFW and she was surprised that it was “free”! She wanted McDonald’s for dinner and we proceeded to our gate for St.Louis.  We were met by the foster family, Charlene and her husband that took Kimara to their home. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to bringing Kimara back home on Saturday!”
