This mission took place on April 21-24, 2013. Alex Restrepo, mission coordinator, and his team went to paint an orphanage in Bogota, Colombia, home to 75 children. The team donated painting materials, soccer uniforms, and most importantly their time and love. The children wanted to be part of the painting process. It is amazing how strangers can bring so much joy to children in an orphanage. Moreover, the love, excitement, and appreciation from the children will forever change the volunteers’ lives because they know they are doing wonderful work.
