Airline
Ambassadors, LDS Charities and Military Join Forces to Bring Aid to
Colombia
On September 24, 2008,
30,000 lbs of hospital supplies (valued over $1M) will arrive in
San Juan del Guaviare thanks to the combined efforts of the
Colombian Army and the Colombian National Police.
AAI
put together this unique collaborative effort with the Church of
Latter Day Saints (LDS) Charities in Colombia after a call for help
from the US Civil Affairs personnel stationed in So. Colombia in
April. LDS Charities in Salt Lake City, UT generously
provided over 40,000 lbs of medical aid for this hospital.
Over 50,000 lbs still awaits shipment from
Homestead Airbase in Miami to Colombia. Please read the Press
Release.

Nam Disabled Children's Fund.
Trinh will be
leading a very special Airline Ambassadors' sponsored "Compassion Tour of Viet Nam" in March 2009.
During

peace villages and families with disabled children (most affected
by Agent Orange/dioxin, a defoliant used during the Viet Nam War)
as well as extraordinary places in Hanoi (Ha Long Bay), Hoi An
(ChinaBeach), Hue City and Ho Chi Minh City. Trinh
explains that volunteers will even "rejuvenate" during the trip with
yoga classes!
AAI has set up the
Viet Nam Disabled Children’s Fund. Proceeds will go to selected
Agent Orange programs that participants will visit during the trip.
