Thanks so the effort of AAI member Imani Razat, a New York City based mom, who mobilized her child’s school in doing a drive to raise 1 each!

Here is her note:

Great News! Our school Central Park East 2 Elementary School in NYC with the help of our Awesome principle Naomi Smith and Alison & Naomi’s class has successfully raised $357.50 in our $1/per family drive to help the Airline Ambassador’s Haiti Mission. This money was matched 100% by Airline Ambassadors so the kids raised a total of $751.00 to help those in Haiti!

In the Wake of Hurricane Matthew,

Alison & Naomi’s Class is Collecting $1 For HaitiTo assist our friends at Airline Ambassadors International in their emergency efforts to help rebuild Haiti after Hurricane Matthew, we are asking CPE 2 Parents to send $1 for Haiti to school in an envelope marked “Haiti” via the purple folder.Airline Ambassadors International is working with local Haitian organizations and volunteers to bring aid to Haiti. They will be going to the South of Haiti mainly up the mountains of Fonds-des-Negres/Miragoine to bring relief to the inhabitants in that area.

Your generous donation will be used to purchase much needed supplies such as: flashlights (especially solar powered ones), blue roofing tarp, non perishable food, saline water, drinking water, water filters, medicine and construction materials such as hammers, saws, nails, screwdrivers, wood, anything we can use to help these families at least rebuild a place to live.

The people that have been affected mostly need funds that will help them rebuild their 1 room homes, buy seeds, goats, cows and other animals they’ve lost during Mathew.

I am so impressed by the work of the kids from Central Park East 2 Elementary School. What an awesome group of children. Please express our heartfelt thank you to the students on our behalf.

Words can not begin to express our gratitude for the funds which were donated to Our Small Community of Family.

In the last 2 months we have been so busy trying to meet the needs of others that were badly affected by hurricane Mathew that we put aside our own needs. “But God” as it is always mentioned in the Christian community, looked into our hearts and brought you guys to meet one of our most pressing need of all – the paving of our yard which turns into a river after each rainy day. Today, I am happy to report that with the $357 raised by Central Park East 2 School in New York from the initiative of Orion Razat, Anaya Hill and Wren Hansenl, and the match of Airline Ambassadors International, we used the $751 to help us start the paving of the orphanages yard. Please see the pictures below 

We have no overhead and all our expenses are being taken care of by our own personal funds.
